Formlabs presents award for high expertise in dental 3D printing 

Hanover, 23 March 2022: Gold Quadrat GmbH was honoured by Formlabs with the title "Dental Partner of the Year 2021". With this award, the globally active 3D printing specialist recognised Gold Quadrat's versatile commitment to dental 3D printing. With this award, the company from Lower Saxony belongs to the Western European top in the field of "dental 3D printing with Formlabs".

In March 2022, traders from all over Europe met in Berlin at a cross-industry Formlabs Summit to exchange information about current developments and perspectives in 3D printing. 3D printing has long since emerged from its "research, development and prototyping" niche to become an indispensable manufacturing technology. The dental sector has contributed to this high acceptance. One company that has been doing pioneering work here for many years is Gold Quadrat (Hanover). 

Pioneering role in dental 3D printing
Gold Quadrat has been a partner of Formlabs since 2014, bringing 3D printing to dental laboratories and practices at a very early stage. To this day, the company impresses with a variety of information, support and services; be it through innovative event concepts or direct on-site training. Always present is the necessary dental excellence with which Gold Quadrat has always distinguished itself. For its pioneering performance, Gold Quadrat GmbH was awarded a special honour among all Western European dental dealers by Formlabs. The company was awarded the "Dental Partner of the Year 2021" for its services in the dental sector. In front of more than 200 participants, Wilhelm Mühlenberg(Managing Director) accepted the award and was surprised: "It is a great honour for us to receive this award and at the same time a great confirmation for our whole team." And another characteristic feature: the prize was not awarded on the basis of the highest sales figures, but based on the overall appearance of the sales partner. And here Gold Quadrat convinced with its successful philosophy of being close to the customer and one step ahead of the times with its plans.

Perspective on 3D printing
Across industries, speakers at the Formlabs Summit addressed additive manufacturing and showed that 3D printing as an adaptable tool can solve some elementary nodes of supply chains. In-house production can cut costs and reduce dependencies. In the dental sector, too, the signs are clearly pointing to progress and a steady expansion of the 3D printing portfolio. And here Gold Quadrat will continue to be there as a partner for its customers in the laboratory and practice and accompany the establishment of the innovative technologies and materials from Formlabs.
