The lubrication-free Presto Aqua LUX air turbine handpiece is particularly suitable for working with zirconium-based ceramics.The LED light source produces daylight quality that is pleasant to the eye, shows true colors and does not hide any detail. It enables precise work as well as material evaluation under the microscope, thus improving work efficiency while reducing fatigue. The LED illuminant illuminates fine imperfections and air bubbles of the interior frames that cannot be illuminated under the normal light of the workstation, greatly improving the quality of fine interior work.
The water coolant can be smoothly controlled from simple water droplets to the finest water-air spray. Both the amount of water and the spray air can be adjusted independently to achieve the best possible conditions for the material or situation at hand: very fine, minimal water mist prevents micro-cracks, while larger amounts of water clean the area during cutting. Water cooling reduces heat build-up on the material being worked and helps keep grinding waste at bay.
