Effect liquid in the color Brown from the Esthetic Colorant system from Kuraray Noritake.Esthetic Colorant can be used to imitate the light-optical properties of natural teeth from within. The result is color effects with real depth.
Each tooth impresses with a unique internal color structure. With its special raw materials and color structures – specially developed for the KATANA Zirconia Multi-Layered series – Esthetic Colorant enables these unique properties to imitate natural teeth; easily and efficiently.
The effect liquids are applied to the monolithic or anatomically milled structure with a metal-free brush or brush pen – preferably with the Liquid Brush Pen (Art. No. 35708010) – before sintering the zirconia restoration. During sintering, the Esthetic Colorant shades diffuse into the zirconium oxide structure and are fixed without additional firing. The result is lifelike color effects that give the restoration its life from within.

Some may fear that the application of effect liquids could have a negative impact on the flexural strength of zirconia. However, Esthetic Colorant has been optimized to minimize strength loss and prevent errors.
Compact portfolio for easy application
The Esthetic Colorant portfolio consists of just twelve shades. They facilitate stock management and at the same time enable the controlled reproduction of typical effects and characteristic color gradients even before sintering. This contributes to a natural, harmonious appearance of the final restorations.

After sintering, the restoration customized with Esthetic Colorant can be given additional color characterization with Noritake CZR. The result of this combination is masterful esthetics: a restoration with a rich, natural appearance from the depths, with the vivid, individual color play of naturally beautiful teeth.
