CLEARFIL™ CERAMIC PRIMER PLUS is a universal primer for almost all restorative surfaces. It adheres stably and securely to ceramic (lithium disilicate, zirconia), hybrid ceramic, composite and metal. The original MDP monomer ensures secure adhesion to metal and metal oxide, such as zirconium oxide. The silane bonding agent guarantees strong adhesion to composite, glass-ceramic and hybrid ceramic. This perfect blend of ingredients enables reliable adhesion to virtually all dental materials.CLEARFIL™ CERAMIC PRIMER PLUS contains the original MDP monomer from Kuraray Noritake as an essential ingredient. MDP has been synonymous with scientifically confirmed, outstanding bonding results for more than 35 years. As the hydroxyapatite crystals remain in the hybrid layer after gentle self-etching, the monomer confers stability. The collagen fibers encased in hydroxyapatite are first penetrated by the CLEARFIL™ CERAMIC PRIMER PLUS, forming a particularly effective hybrid layer in conjunction with the bonding. Within this hybrid layer, a chemical bond is formed between MDP and hydroxyapatite. Despite the low acidity of the primer, the adhesion of CLEARFIL™ CERAMIC PRIMER PLUS to the enamel is excellent. This effect is also based on Kuraray Noritake's MDP technology. Thus, CLEARFIL™ CERAMIC PRIMER PLUS offers not only strong mechanical adhesion, but also strong chemical adhesion.
